I can honestly say that Dave’s music has been there for every major step of my life.

1) My first true love… we shared Crush during an … ahem… intimate moment - it took me years to ’take that song back’ from the painful memories of that breakup

2) My wife walked down the aisle to Loving Wings, because I was a broken person until I found her

3) My daughter, now 10, is my Dave buddy - we’ve had some epic shows together and it made us grow closer during a rough patch of divorce and addiction

4) Now, I have a lyric tattooed on my arm from You Never Know - as a personal mantra - for when life beats me down, when I feel like my only job is to “grind it out” - go to work, be a dad, be there for the addict in my life… I remind myself: “Don’t lose the dreams inside your head, they’ll only be there til you’re dead…”
