“Life’s short but sweet for certain.” — DMB

Meet Keri,

She’s been listening to Dave Matthews Band since her freshman year of high school — and from the moment she heard them, she was all in.

For Keri, DMB isn’t just a band. It’s a reminder to live in color — even when life’s anxieties and the everyday grind try to dull the edges. Songs like “Grey Street” hit hard for her, reflecting the push and pull between joy and monotony, and the deep knowing that she’s meant for something more.

Then there’s “Seek Up” — a song that gained new weight after losing her dad. It helped her realize that what truly matters isn’t what you own, but the footprint you leave behind. The raw, real moments — the kind that fill your emotional cup to the brim — that’s what she’s here for.

Her favorite DMB lyric?

“Celebrate we will, because life is short but sweet for certain.”

That spirit shows up in every part of her story — in her calm, happy energy, and the deep love she pours into being a mom.

When Keri listens to DMB, she feels summer. Nostalgia. A deep peace.
She didn’t bring much to her session — no ticket stubs or posters — because for her, the memories live in her heart.

Boho vibes, muted tones, a quiet strength. That’s what we captured.
She asked me to make her look “less fluffy” (her words, not mine), but I’ll tell you what I did see: a woman who radiates light, soul, and grounded joy. A woman who’s grown up with this music — and somehow made it even more meaningful.

This is what the project is about.
Not just music.
Meaning. Memory. Connection.

And Keri? She brought it all.
